I went onto some websites to verify some stats about mass deaths; World War I, 8.5 million deaths and over 37 million casualties, 70 million to 85 million, The 3 Kingdoms deaths stand at 36 – 40 million, Mongol conquest 30 – 57 million. I was not yet born when all these disasters struck the world. My experience in 2020 with the scourge of death in the wake of Covid19 is frightening and more importantly it has changed our world. It feels like the end. As of the end of April 2020 world deaths are edging towards 300 000. This not a small figure, but far from the records I looked at this remains relatively quite small. The purpose of my writing this message is not to focus on death. All I wish YOU understand is that modern life was largely shaped in the aftermath of those deaths before 1950. Advanced technology has given mankind more convenience, efficiency and even better quality of life. Now our virtual world is sustaining us in the face of Covid19. AS for YOU and ME, after Covid-19 there will be greater challenges, so how will you position yourself to make a difference? I am open to think beyond Covid19 with hope in my optimism for the future. I am open to guide and share notes and relevant strategies to renew, revive and realign. E M Kadembo
